A warm welcome message from the DEPUTY CEO (COMING SOON)

The smile: William Blake
There is a Smile of Love And there is a Smile of Deceit And there is a Smile of Smiles In which these two Smiles meet. And there is a Frown ...

Here at Dennis Academy Trust, our aspirations for the future- is to make sure every student is ready and able to meet the gates of competition beyond the school gates of education, so they have the best chance at a successful future. With our engagement with our community to understand the challenges they face in the area.

Our greatest investment is our young. They represent us in Hackney. So, everyone has a role to play not just teachers.
key findings: Young people from the most deprived areas have more complex post-school transitions than those
from the least deprived areas.
The people most likely to influence young people’s career decisions are Parent(s)/Carer(s). The factors most likely to influence young people are their interests/hobbies, the need to earn money, and the qualifications they achieved in school.
This unique overarching interest in the wellbeing and health of local children is reflected in councils’ comprehensive legal responsibilities for promoting the welfareand wellbeing of children and young people from 0-25. Councils have specific legal duties to work with local partners in the public
and voluntary sectors to make sure this is achieved.
Make us more aware of our surroundings it’s not just education but how behaviour pivots its role upon all of us in Hackney.
Look, this is a great time to join the Trust as we
progress at pace in our next stage of the evolution of Hackney.
We very much look forward to receiving your application for what will be a stimulating, challenging
and professionally fulfilling role. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you require more information.
Yours sincerely,
Dennis brown, Chief Executive Officer
Message from the
Chief Executive Officer
Thank you for your interest in the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and vacant teacher roles.
Young people felt supported and encouraged by the career services they received in school. This is particularly true for those from the most disadvantaged groups, who report a wide range of benefits.
Young people’s career aspirations are concentrated in a small number of job sectors. There are also clear demographic differences in the sectors that young people aspire to enter.
Transforming Lives

The council role in delivering ambition
Although councils want to agree a shared ambition with partners, their leadership
role locally will be essential to the success
of delivering these ambitions.
They have a democratic mandate to represent and protect the interests of all children, young people and families in their area. They have a responsibility to increase the numbers of students in primary schools in their area, they are a council that’s their mandate to supply affordable homes for all, not just the old but the young.

The mandate also covers the place and the community in which children and young people live and these ambitions will need to extend beyond those working directly in children’s services.
The role of councillors will be critical in championing this approach and identifying opportunities to do things differently to improve outcomes.
